1. Who we are

YourWatts ("we", "us") is operated by Stephan Kulik, an independent publisher based in Cyprus (not a registered company). We serve US readers via yourwatts.com. Contact: [email protected] or via /contact.

2. Information we collect

Usage data (analytics): aggregated, anonymised data about pages visited, device type, state (from IP, then discarded), and referrer.
Tool inputs: ROI calculator and system configurator inputs are processed locally in your browser and are not stored on our servers.
Contact submissions: if you email us, we retain the email and any information you provide.

We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or precise location.

3. How we use data

To measure and improve the performance of our site (aggregated analytics, only after you accept analytics cookies).
To prevent fraud and abuse.
To respond to your questions and requests.
To comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies and tracking

Nothing non-essential loads before you choose. Google Analytics is not requested, and sets no cookies, until you click “Accept all” or allow “Analytics” under “Manage”. If you reject, nothing is loaded. The same rules apply to every visitor, wherever you are.

5. Affiliate tracking

When you click an affiliate link on our site, you will be directed to a third-party merchant (e.g. EcoFlow, Tesla, Jackery). That merchant may set its own cookies to attribute any resulting sale to us. We do not share personal data with these partners — only an anonymised referral identifier.

6. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

Right to delete: request deletion of personal information we hold about you.
Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate information.

Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny service or provide different pricing based on your exercise of these rights.

7. Children's privacy

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA).

8. Data retention

Analytics data is retained for 14 months in aggregated form. Contact-form submissions are retained for 24 months unless you request earlier deletion.

9. Changes to this policy

We will post material changes here. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
